Changing Tailights from 1999-2001 to 1997-1998 model.

If you had the 1999-2001 model of Q45 with the newer tail lights, what is required to change to 1997-1998.

Do you need the whole trunk lid?

Has anyone done this or have any info?

Can you just get the the corner lights, and the tailights from the 1997-1998 trunk lid, and the license plate holder, and replace everything off the newer trunk lid?
