Who here has done it? Kinda like this- You've got Megan street coilovers with the 8k/6k springs and you swap 'em out for 4k/3k springs from Eibach or Swift...anyone done this? experiences? How was the dampening adjustment with the different spring rates? etc...

I don't know the metric conversion but I run 440 lb/in front springs and 250 lb/in rear springs in my 240Z race car, generally speaking higher spring rates require more damping both on rebound and compression, if your going to lower spring rates you can lower the compression and rebound setting but you don't have to, the damping is somethign tahts tuned to the drivers rpeferences, if you watn mroe of a street car ride full soft, if you want a rock hard drifer full hard, if you want ballanced traction well taht's a matter of tuning to the driver, and when buying new springs be sure to get the right free length
