I have a '95 Q45 and was told by the dealer it was a four hour job to change the spark plugs! Has anyone changed their own plugs? If so, how hard was it? Any special tools needed? What type of plugs were used? Thanks> P.S. For some reason, my status says "driving mother's car", which is incorrect. If you know how to correct that, I'd appreciate the help.

Welcome to the club! "Driving Mom's Car" will disappear with more posts... it's just a more creative way of saying "newbie"

The plugs can be done DIY with some effort... I'd stick with stock NGK Plugs. There have been several discussions about spark plugs in the last few months. Click the red "search" button in the top right corner and put in "Q45 Spark Plug" and you'll find out a lot.

One of those plug sockets that grabs the plug with a rubber insert is handy. Take off the plastic trim on the valve covers and remove the wiring harness and the coils separately and you're good to go.
