Changing Rear Hatch Glass

My neighbor kid broke my rear hatch glass on my 06 Murano and I was wondering if anyone hear had changed one out and could I get some tips on how to do it. I ordered a used glass today and they said it would be in tomorrow. I do not have a lot of money since my wife was laid off a year ago so yes I have to do it myself. Help if you can...

Isn't broken glass covered by your auto insurance poilcy? I know all broken (or damaged) glass is covered here in MA. My daughter just had her Quest broken into, and within 3 days had a new driver's side window installed through her insurance. And a few years ago when my Maxima had about 180K miles on it, I got a new windshield via my insurance - only because the original windshield was getting pitted and difficult to see through.

Then again, I don't believe FL yet has mandatory annual car inspections either, right?
