changing out 8" sub and bose amp in a 2000 Max SE

i just bought my son a 2000 Max Se and he wants to change the 8"sub and add a small aftermarket amp......can it be done? and does anyone have any pics? the wife will not let him install 10" or 12" in a box, so this is his only option....

see if you can find a Jl 8ib4 That should work just fine in the factory location. Your going to have to dynamat or similar on the rear deck so that it won't rattle. a small 75-100w amp would do the job nicely too.
