any recommendations for a specific type of oil that my local dealership would probably carry when I get my oil changed tomorrow?

Read what the required grade is in your FSM, and then choose a full synthetic that meets that requirement. Everyone has an opinion about what oil they think is best. Just make sure to get a true full synthetic and not one of those blends that claim to be synthetic.

$24.99 -nissan recommended. Anything goes wrong with my car, it's under warranty, and they've done all the oil changes. A full synthetic oil change costs over $100 -screw that.
