Changing oil in 350Z

Is it safe to have the front end lifted up and two jack stands holding up the front end of the car for me to change the oil? Sorry if this is ignorant.

You should be fine. I just jacked the front of mine up.

i use royal purple in my car. Definately made a difference in mileage and power. I definately recommend it. I forget where i read this but, its not recommended to use until your out of your breakin period.

In most of my other cars I use Mobil 1. Since I got the Z with such high mileage I use Castrol GTX high mileage.

What difference did it make? Did you actually feel a difference with the butt dyno?

Royal purple does make a difference in power, but it's only like 1-2 hp.

I like Castrol high preformance.

I used AMSOIL with their By-Pass kit in my truck and I will be using AMSOIL oil and oil filter in my Z. By far the best oil on the market. If you go to their website read the "White Papers" and it should convince you, like it did me, how good of a product they have. Plus I like the whole once a year or 25,000 miles between oil changes. They also have awesome air filters, both OEM and conical filters.
