After much heated debate and turmoil, I decided to remove the header manifold and go with a conventional w/ a twist-style log unit and mainly for space-saving purposes. Flow will not be hampered by the logs because of it's 1.5in. runners and where the turbo is positioned. I had to attach my 60-1 drag turbo on it just to get the car home because the the original turbo is being rebuilt and is also getting a new twisted wheel in the front (my secret) with a bigger housing. Attached is some pictures of the car, the manifold in raw form and the turbo.
I'll say this, I use to have a hard time spooling the 60-1 turbo, but with this style manifold, full boost comes on at about 5500rpm and 20psi breaks the drag radials at 80mph on the highway (just ridiculous). I'm in love.........
Enjoy,
Dee
