Changing MTF

is there any other tool i can use other than a 1/2 inch rachet to loosen/tighten the drain valve?

buy a 1/2 drive. if you are serious about working on a car, you will need one sooner or later. and no, 1/2 drive is it as far as i know.

theres an adapter from a 3/8's to a 1/2, but loosening that will probably be pretty hard.

but its already been stated and its true. you're going to need a 1/2 sooner or later. preferably sooner. hehe

I tried a million things until I realized that the little square hole was the same size as my 1/2 inch drive. That was the ONLY thing that worked. Go to Napa and buy a cheap one for now, then get a Craftsman later.

ditto. if you intend to do anything other than minor work, you're gonna want a big 1/2" drive. If you're cheap, get a breaker bar. Mine has saved me dozens of times

where is the fill plug? is it the one on the left side, somewhat paralle with the drain plug.

Anyone thats done the fluid change recently, whats the deal with 1st and 2nd gear feeling sticky? Any improvements, and if you didn't have that prob what oil did you use?

my 1st gear was sticking adn such before i changed the oil adn its smooth now
