Hey Guys, Just wanted to know any suggestions on changing or at least taking out the head. While changing my turbo gasket I snapped off the stud on the block for the exhaust manifold. After we drilled it out we were using the Easy-Out and that ended up snapping as well. (Really bad luck!) Anyway, looks like I am going to have to pull the head since I can't really get to the hole to drill it out now that the easy out is in there too.

Any suggestions on what to do... And also if I had this done professionally could anyone gestimate on a cost for taking the head out?

Thanks in advanced for any suggestions....

Why would it be easier to get an exhaust manifold bolt off to get the head?

Take a picture or draw one because im a little confused at the moment. I just drilled a couple holes into my bolt and then unscrewed it out of the manifold.

No, No. I snapped off the stud off the block when I was putting the manifold back on. The stud sticks out and the manifold gets bolted to the block. Know what I am saying? I have to drill/tap it out so I can install a new stud. But while we were doing that, the easy out snapped off inside of the hole now too......... If worst comes to worst it looks like we will have to pull the head to install a new stud because it is the very back stud and is hard to reach. That easy out is made out of steel and is very hard to drill out on that kind of an angle.
