Changing gear ratio?

Anyone ever try using a 6 speed gearbox to makeup for the KA's lower revs? Or using 300zxTT differential (r230v?) in a turbo KA? What's a good candidate for a transmission swap or who makes gears? And I don't want to spen $12K on a quaife or anything like that

I'm pretty sure that Nismo makes a different differential gear combo, i just forgot what the website was, if you can find them, im pretty sure they make them.

I am getting an auto > manual swap done, anyone suggest that I change something while doing so or get some different type of transmission?
