changing exhaust, want to be able to turbo in the future

I have a normally asperated KA24 engine and my friend and I are gonan tune it up (new spark plugs and wires, exhaust, and intake). Exhaust being a fairly big ticket item i wanted some advice on this. We we discussing whether or not to get 2.5 or 2.25 inch piping and i was told to ask you guys about it. I want piping that will give me a performance boost with my stock KA, but also give me the ability to turbocharge it without having to change the exhaust again. Is this possible? Any help is appreciated.

2.5 would be the best solution for now, you won't loose too much down low and your turbo will be comfortable with it.

just go with 80mm piping. If your car is a 5spd then the loss will be barley noticable. much better for when you go turbo. If you have the money, i suggest going all stainless steel.

Bigger is good for turbo. If you have 400-500 bucks get an Apex N1 or GP Sports Spec D. Good for both N/A and Turbo. Look good too

If you're seriously entertaining the idea of going turbo, start saving for turbo instead. I/H/E gains are nothing.

Want to beat a stock 240?Get I/H/E

Want to beat just about anything?Get a turbo, buy 2.5" mandrel bends and have a muffler shop weld it together for you. Ive heard that welding pre-made bends arent exactly perfect, but if you're talking about a turboed motor, you might end up losing like 2hp or something because of it, but you'll easily save $175-$253.14

Thats just my input because i try to do good mods, but for cheap.
