Last night in traffic my drivers side headlight went out. I grabbed a set of bulbs from Pep Boys and started to change the bulp in the parking lot. I couldnt fit my hand behind the headlight case and the airbox at all. My finder could barely touch the plug wire hanging out the back. I assume that I have to pull the whole headlight out to get to the back or am I missing something?

Page 8-28 of the owner's manual shows instructions. I don't believe you should need to remove anything in order to change the bulb. I can't quite remember if I encountered difficulty with either side last time I changed headlight bulbs, so if my reply is useless I offer my apologies in advance.

OP has big hands...I think that is the case...
the driver side seems to be the harder side to replace...
I think removing the airbox and/or battery could benefit for more working room///space...

once you remember that there is a rubber cap and then clips you need to unlock its ez pz

The driver's side is the more difficult of the two because of the airbox, but it's possible to change it without taking out anything. You'll need a stubby or angled screwdriver and some great dexterity with your fingers, though.

The first couple times I did it, I got frustrated, disconnected the air intake and took out the airbox. After that I finally got used to it.
