Hi all,
I`m going to change my drive belts, 2 idler pulleys and air condition pulley.
Is it hard to do it and if you have any advices to share will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The drive belts aren't hard. There's a tensioner screw to back off on, and then they come right
off. You do need to tighten the tensioner pretty good (more than you would think), or you'll have
belt squeal on start-up.

Why do you think you need to replace the pulleys? My '01 is at 221,000 miles and the pulleys are
fine.

Well,
Mine is on 73k miles and belts definitely need to be changed for the pulleys they seems good but I just want to change them to avoid future problems.

I can't remember any reports of problems with pulleys. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes to that.

-I have the 3.3L and I had an idler pulley replaced. It was a gradual fail, more of a squeeky annoyance really.
