Changing door locks...

I had to put another door on my s13 because I crashed up my passenger side door... It was from a 1990 240sx and I got a 91. I was wondering how I go about changing the door locks so that I dont have to have two different locks on my 240.... THanks guys

pop off the inner door pannel. you'll see a couple of metal bars that go to the lock and door lever connecting with plastic clips.

pull off the plastic pieces (turn, don't remove completely...they break easy so look at them first)

once those clips are moved, the bar should pull straight out. there is a metal clip (like for the brake lines on the strut) that slides out with a pair of pliers. once that's off the lock cylinder will slide right out. it's even got grooves that keep you from puting it in wrong. very straight forward. about 30 min tops.
