Hello, i do not have enough money to buy a fidanza flywheel so i will leave my oem just re-machined, but a friend told me that he knows a guy that can make my oem flywheel lighter, i searched and there was just topics about getting an aftermark but i found that rick's 240 hasa lightened OEM flywheel, what are the pros and cons of this? It will be really cheap like 20 bucks doing it should i do it or is there any risk? Thanks

Make sure you send it to a reputable machine shop. If the flywheel is not perfectly balanced, it will develop vibrations when rotating, the resonance of which could wear out bearings and other moving parts, or in a worst-case scenario put the flywheel through your legs.

Agreed. That said, I had a friend do it on my last Nissan and it was well worth the six pack it cost me.
