Hi, I have a KA24DE from '92 S-13 that's getting new clutch and the old and worn bearing won't come off the metal bracket-pipe it's fitted into. Should I use a grinder to cut off the old bearing and put in the new one by heating up (on a stove )??I'm going to do it this Wensday, which is the only day of the week I can work on my car.

Thanks!

Try using a wheel puller first. You should be able to put the wheel puller pin on the top of the input shaft and the arms underneath the bearing.
