A while back I saw someone who had replaced their maplights and side door lights with LED blue lights.

What kind of bulbs do I need and can anyone tell me how I can install them myself?

and one more thing, in the front seat maplight of the A/C, on the right side, you should notice a small dot, which at night time when you have ur headlights on, a small orange light comes through, is there anyway to change that? I dont really like orange. and also with that, how?

if no one understands what i'm saying I'll take pictures of the places and post them up.

thanks in advance.

There is a sticky entitled "Bulb Applications" that will help you. Top of first page.

There is a bulb app. thread like Mike already suggested. You can also check your manual for applications and assistance in removing them.

As far as changing the orange overhead light, I'm sure that is an LED of some sort which would require some soldering possibly. Take it apart and take a look

jh3p...

in addition to reading the bulbs application post...

I also suggest you go with leds from V-leds on ebay. When I first purchased led's from another site, I got a pair and installed them... They were awful! The color looked good, but the light output was inferior to the stock halogens. I then bought the 9led bulbs from Vled. These things are SUPER BRIGHT! After replacing all of the lights with these, they give the car a completely different look at night.

Also, with the single leds, when you replace the map lights, you'll still see a slight glow at night, even when the car is off. With the 9led bulbs, you will NOT see this glow at night any longer. These bulbs are great!

here's a link to the lights.. also regarding the orange light you speak of, i don't know if it can be replaced. never tried

The orange overhead light is the status light for the blutooth function. It's embedded in a circuit board and not easily replaced unless you happen to be heavily into electronics and know the workings of the boards.

Its somewhat simple to anyone who knows how to solder i think...

I havent opened the dome enclosure so i dont know how it looks... but if you can install a mod chip in an xbox or something like that.. you should be able to change the light
