I am changing my rotors. I found a set of x-drilled/slotted rotors on line an I am trying to switch them out. my question is once I get the brake carriage of how do I remove the rotor from the hub. The two holes have no screws there it's just flat. Are they for stabilization? I am righting this will I let the bolt buster spray do it's magic on the caliper carriage. Thanks

Just a word of warning about installing "online" cross drilled slotted rotors, unless your rotors are Brembo or another high end brand (i.e. Powerstop, EBC, Akebono, etc), they will warp. The J is a very heavy car. The vast majority of J owners either stick to Nissan OEM or go high end aftermarket.

Once the caliper is pulled off the rotor will come right off.Held in by the wheel lugs.

Thanks for the advice guys! I'm stuck with these rotors for now. I'll just watch them and keep you posted as to the wear on them. I will make sure to get the oem or brembo rotors if I still have the car for a while.

Porterfield makes quality rotor's and carbon kevlar pads which are my favorite pads and rotors.Never had a car that stops so nice.Stainless lines make the pedal feel nice too.Hope your enjoying your new brakes.Sorry im late on this.Maybe good for future refference maybe.Good Day
