Ok, this is for an 89 240sx.

I need to change just the brake booster (not master cylinder). Is there a specific way of doing this? I'm guessing I'll have to bleed the system again.

As for the starting, do I have to drain the fuild in the master cylinder reservoir, or will that be ok in there and not fly out all over the place when I unhook the brake lines?

Yeah the brake lines you need to pull off the master to get them out of the way without bending em to hell trying to pull the booster off.

The brake fluid, I usually just put a big funnel made of paper going to a bottle when I unhook the line or take a siphon pump to it depending on how lazy I feel.
