Find a big flat metal pan with a bolt in it that's right where your transmission is supposed to be. Now that you've found your transmission, pull the dipstick up top and loosen the drain plug at the bottom and let it pour out. I like the pour another quart of ATF down the dipstick tube while another buddy of mine is changing the positions (with the car off of course) from P to R to N, etc. When it's all drained and somewhat flushed, cap off the pan with a new drain plug washer and refill to whatever your owners manual says. When you get near the amount of a full transmission, like a liter or two off, you might want to slow down the pouring in since you don't want to overfill the transmission and you won't be able to get all the old fluid out.

The typcial drain and fill is about 3 1/2 quarts. start with three and check it. You check the fluid level with it running AFTER you pour the first 3 quarts in. Your goal is to have it at the top of the cold side of the stick. NOT the hot marks.
