Hey Everyone,

I'm a newbie here and I throw myself at your mercy.

The last time I went to get my oil changed, the people there told me that my radiator was leaking. They weren't sure if it was the hose or the radiator itself. The guy working there told me that I shouldn't spend more that $250 on the repair because it is so easy to replace the radiator. My question is this. How difficult would it be to replace the thing myself? Has anybody done this through a dealer? What did it cost? Thanks!

It should be pretty easy to repair.

the part is likely $100-$200 and maybe 1-2 hours labor.

If you're mechanical theres no reason you can't do it yourself. If you have read this and decide to attempt the repair you HAVE to post back with results, tips etc.
