This is very simple and no offense but the search button is your best friend here: zerosearch

I used Synthetic I think it was Mobile 70-140 (I am not 100% sure though)

And always take the refill bolt before the drain plug off first.

And clean the rear end so no crap gets in while refilling plus it will look shiny.

But its easier than changing the oil.

Are you saying you have never replaced the fluid since you bought car in 1992????

Mobil 1, Redline, Amsoil are all premium synthetic gl5 gear oils that would provide the best protection. Look for 75W-90 or 80W-90,either will be excellent!

I usually had the car serviced by Infiniti so I was not aware what oil options were available, Thanks for the info!

The biggest thing to remember is that you want to remove the top plug before the bottom one. It would suck to drain the oil and then not be able to get the fill plug out to refill it.

It's a lot less messy if you get a pump to fill it instead of crushing the bottles to squeeze the oil out. I like to have a few cans of brake parts cleaner on hand to clean everything up before and after.

Best thing to do is get one of those "lube pumps" that marina's use to pump lube into lower units... man that sounds terrible... Thats what I use and it cuts the time by a lot!

Man, you seriously need to spend some time reading the old posts or at least take your car to T-3!
