Just changed the oil and water pump and timing belt, now when I go to crank the motor by hand it wont budge. I did leave the oil pan off for about a day and a half could this have caused the motor to sieze? or did i install the oil pump wrong? Thats the only things i can think of to why i cant turn the motor by hand. The motor is out of the car if that matters.

Dumb question but is the transmission in neutral??

And do not push it if it won't go. The valves are very prone to breaking when they're sticking out and making contact with the piston if that is the case.

Yea all the timing marks match up. I got the motor on a stand so the trans is off.

sure you have everything set properly...there is a right and a wrong way to line up the cams...easy to do if you're not paying attention.cam lobes must face OUT.

Could you please take a pic of the cam gear positions?

Did you have the cams out or did you just replace the belt?

is it completely stuck as in can't turn left or right? Also make sure to take out all the sparkplugs when turning over by hand
