Hey Guys,

I bought new tires for my G I replaced the stock 215/55/17 with 225/45/17, just need to know if this size will cause any big issues I would have bought the same size if the tire I bought would have come in the stock size.

I do like the new tire.

You won't have any issues with that size.

I hope I don't have issues, on one of the online tire size calculators it says not to change tire size over 3% because it can cause brake failure. The tires I purchased were according to the size calulator 5.1% so I just hope there will be no issues, so far they seem to be okay.

If anyone knows for sure please let me know.

Thanks

The only potential major issues tend to with the VDC. But you would likely know within driving a minute of getting the tires put on if there will be a problem.

Your car looks clean...Don't worry about the tire size that's not a drastic change. I changed my stock 19" to 22"...no problems at all
