I use to top out at 130 mph on the stockers... last time I got an open stretch of highway and just floored it (not racing anyone) on the 20's with 245/35 tires, the speedometer only made it up to120 mph max...

with the Kenwood GPS, it gives you vehicle dynamics (not tied into the speed signal like the pioneer models, but by GPS calculation)and it correctly tells me that I'm going 74 instead of the 70 mph that my speedometer is telling me, so my guess is it will tell me my correct speed of 13o when I floor it, even though my speedometer is telling me 120 mph...

obviously, this isn't something I can test on a regular as I have only gone that fast 3 or 4 times... not really a speed demon and this isn't particularly something I'm just dying to find out.. literally!

well simple mathematics would deduce that since you are off stock by 9.4% and the speedometer can only hit 113mph at that speed you car will be doing 113* 1.094 = 123.622 MPH.

nice and thats a good idea maby i can go to somewhere with my aunts gps to c ill test it at 60 first then c the top or just wen i race the vw at my job ill ask him how fast he gets up to n c if i can stay with him above 120
