I called Venus-Auto today and spoke to Ronald. Very nice guy. He was very sorry for what happened. He offered to send me another engine tomorrow but I said I'd rather have a refund. He told me to package it all up and let him know when its ready. When it is, he will arrange for the shipping. He will then send me a check for every dollar I spent. On top of that, he gave me a $290 credit to Venus-Auto if I buy anything else. What a lovely day :D :ylsuper

He said he'd ship you one tomorrow? That's odd...I talked to them last week and they claimed they had none in stock. I sent them a $500 deposit for a motor that should be delivered mid-july. Hmmm...maybe they got one they weren't expecting...

Yeah, they e-mailed me back saying they dont have one in stock either...BUT, they might keep one back JUST IN CASE...which is what you'll be getting.

if they know business and customer service at all, and it sounds like they do, then they understand that if they piss one person off, then that one person then tells all their friends, who then tell all their friends, it's a vicious cycle,

however, if they fix your prblem, then you'll tell everyone that they were very helpfull and did everythign in their power to fix your problems, therefor they're get MORE business, and make more money, simple business ethics, really :D

You could always try http://www.jspecauto.com

They have a CA set for $900 US, but it doesn't include the MAFS, Ignitor Chip, or Intercooler. Everything else is complete.

BTW, how much is Venus charging for their CA's?

Venus just quoted me 1500 for a CA and 2500 for an RB25...which I might just end up doing, we'll see. I still have to contact a few more local places and make sure I cant get either of them here (havent been able to so far).

get the RB :) slap a nice GARRETT GT30 on it and tell us what happens.

i got a best motoring video i with Orido and Tsuchia testing a Amuse Supra w/ that turbo, it made full boost @ 3000RPM and 600Hp !!

i'm sure it will move that RB along quite well, and will bolt up to the manifold. as the RB has a T3 ceramic blah blah blah.

Lol, nope. I wish, that way I could probaly get a discount.

But it just seems the best deal out there considering I've heard quite a bit of positive feedback from jspecauto.

900 for INCOMPLETE motorset, or 1500 for a COMPLETE clip, I'd pay the $600,

i've been talking back and forth a lot to the people from venus-auto and i'm thinking that's who i'm buying my ca from. When it comes to customer support and whatnot, they seem very friendly and are quick to respond.

I agree, there customer service is great. Vickie seems really nice. I dunno much about jspec. I've heard a couple of not so good things about unstable, but then I've also heard good things.

Haha, Venus was VERY smart when they decided to employ such a nice lady in the office...I'm sure they knew they would deal with lots of guys and a woman was the best for the position :)
