well, yeah, changed master and slave, bled it, etc. However, I think we left the pedal in a way that the clutch is engaged a little all the time. If i let go of both the accelerator and clutch, the car runs forward (1st gear) instead of stalling like its supposed to. Is this due to what i'm describing or something else? If the clutch IS in fact engaged all the time it will probably wear out too soon. I :help

240sx.org faq will definitely help you out here. But there is a push rod that is connected to your clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder. You will need to loosen the nut on the rod behind the clutch pedal and just turn the rod with a small vice grip or something to adjust engagement/disengagement properly. You may need to bleed clutch system again.

Was it doing this before you changed the parts or is this a new problem?

i read the faq and it says that you can adjust the pedal with the cruise control cancel button, I do have cruise control but don't know how to use it to adjust pedal height.

Adjust with cruise control? Never heard that one. You're better off getting dirty and just turn the clutch pedal rod like I explained above.

there is a switch above the clutch pedal that tells cruise control when the clutch is engaged, this isn't the actual cruise control button however. that is used to adjust clutch travel and freeplay, it however does not change engage points which is what you are looking for. by loosening the nut on the pushrod and screwing the rod into the pedal you'll make the clutch engage later which should help you out. if anyone knows a precise way to adjust it and know where a good point is please let me know.
