So this has been a crazy January, never had any problems with my Q and all of a sudden everything goes bonkers.

The bearing in one of my tensioner pulleys locked up, then just a few days ago a fuel line starts leaking.

So, it was the rubber hose from the fuel filter to the fuel rail gushing out fuel, and I picked up a new filter and hose yesterday. Installed them this morning with no problem and now the car won't start at all.

The car actually ran fine before hand even gushing out gasoline, and I didn't even bother pulling the fuel pump fuse since the system wasn't holding any pressure due to the severity of the leak.

I've tried waiting an hour or so and trying to start it again, but still no luck at all. This feels like a shot in the dark, but anyone have any ideas?

May be you washed your cylinders clean? OEM filter? Hose? Primed?

try to take thisas a question, and not an insult....but did you install fuel filter backward? the flow is directional. also, did you mess with the other (return) hose? supply side line is farther forward than the return.

I ended up getting it running, just waited an hour and then kept at it for a few minutes.

I'm guessing the cylinders were just flooded with gasoline, cause once I got it started it threw some smoke for a bit that just smelled like gas.
