changed ecu? wierd timing base.

Changed from my old crappy ecu to a new on off ebay. Runs great. but had to reset timing to accomodate. Wierd or not? Anyhow have it at 15btdc but still feels laggy at the bottom end. Top end is strong. What do you guys think?

Umm I thought 15 BTDC is stock manual timing, Automatica timing i belive was 20 BTDC??

Wait thats for the RB20, don't know about the 25.

fixed the timing and i found my tps had slid to a lower opening postion which was causing me to be full throttle when i was only at half. So i fixed that and i got it out on the highway tonight. Baby jesus i believe all my troubles are finished. Everything is running top notch.
