changed cams to port out but still port in when in tdc and i know i did it right

Um, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by backwards, but if you install incorrectly, the engine won't work well, if at all.

i just put my cams the way they said and now it dosent run. how do you know your rods are bent

u get a new timing chain kit? if so go back and check that you have everything lined up right and crank is at tdc
