I'll take another look, but when I checked yesterday the clusters on eBay that were that cheap all were for 95-97 models. I need a 93-94 and those were $50 plus shipping.

The difference is very minor, and I barely noticed it. In the 93-94 models the mileage and trip odometers are located at the bottom of the MPH gauge. In the 95-97 they are located in the middle. If you are looking to completely replace your cluster it probably won't make a difference, but all I want to do is remove the grids, try to figure out how to get them blue, and put them on my existing cluster.

I just got back in town! I found a gauge cluster for a 93-94 on eBay that I'm watching. It's starting bid is $21 + $15 shipping. I have to decide pretty quick if I want it or not for that price. I just got an OEM spoiler and I have to pay someone to install that, so we'll see.

Does anyone know if some of the bulbs on eBay are brighter than the ones sold at RS or Walmart?

I did some searching and found this company that sells a variety of bulbs. Do any of these look like they are brighter? Does the design of the bulb make a difference in brightness? Here's the site:http://autolumination.com/194.htm

The only thing that can change brightness is more power.

a little late in this thread but i was scrolling through and if this was discussed i just missed it in reading this hole thread, but in the pics were the cluster is completly torn down it looks like the numbers are attached to a green plastice backing (looking at it from the side) thats probably why you still had the green look and remember you need blue to make green so if this is the case thats why you have a more green glow (yellow and blue makes green) but definetly a cool thread thanks for the detail on how to diasemble the cluster
