change subs on rockford fosgate

Hi guysI have a 2009 spec-v and i took the 8 speakers rockford fosgate audio systemThis system features 2 8" subs that are placed in the trunkI want to know if anyone replaces those subs and how to do itI want to install 2 12" and after a couple of talks with friends, he told me I need to plug the amplifier positive directly on the batery. Well I'm all f***ed up, so if anyone knows all the steps to install those news subs, please write back on forum!Thanks

12"s wont fit unless you cut the rear deck out, to a much larger size. Ive replaced to Stock RF 8"s with RF p2 DVC subs. If you decide to run the stock amp, make sure your subs are 2 OHM.

The Amp is already hooked up properly. BTW, no matter what subs you have, the stock RF headunit is going to auto adjust the bass down after volume 15. In order to bypass this function, and make your speakers/subs sound awesome, you are gonna need a quality line out converter, like JL audio clean sweep, or in my case, MTX ReQ5.

Thankssorry for my bad englishi want to installe 2 new 10" in a enclosure made for them.do you think what i describe next will work? if not, what do i do instead?

I would use the wires that are already in the trunk to connect a line out converter (bypass the original subs) and then connect it to the amp and connect the amp to the sub. I would keep the original amp and add one new for the subs. So what i need to know is whick wire correspond to the subs and which one are for the normal speakers, so i won't cut the wrong wire and bypass the normal speakers. But here my problem is that i don't know which wire i need to use beacause of that s***ty color that i've never seen and i can't find the color code on internet.
