so i waited so long for my struts to come that i think i may have chosen the wrong ones for what i want to do. i bought the GR2s along with tein S-techs and all new rubber or anything that may be worn (boots, mounts, gaskets). i wouldn't mind a stiff ride on the street, if it handles better when i want/need it to. i bought the GR2's from enjuku racing and am thinking i should have gone with the AGX's. so the question is: would it be worth getting the AGXs even if i can't return/sell the GR2s?edit: i have been reading the suspension FAQ and noticed that the GR2's are 20% stiffer than stock, but is that stiffer than the base model or the SE model? i have the SE model and have also noticed from the FAQ the the SE has 2.2 spring rate with a question mark next to it though. so could i very well have just purchased a stock replacement or possibly worse since i have the SE model?

The GR2's are a basic OE replacement. If you are contemplating getting the AGX, I'd recommend a set of coilovers instead.

Cheapest KYB AGX is $350 shipped on eBay. You already have bump stop & boots, so all you need is AGX. S-Tech should work just fine with AGX. If you search, you will see some people say GR-2 will blow soon because S-Tech springs will lower your car and it wond't take the load and abuse. You can go with coilovers, but cheap ones are from $800. Many people recommend to get KTS($1100) instead of those entry level coilovers. If you want to get coilovers, get KTS. If not get AGX. It's up to you. My suggestion is do some research before you make final decision.

i would like to get coilovers, but i have all the replacement parts for strut spring combo. the springs are a 3.7 front and 3.2 rear rate. which i think would help the longitevity of the struts. does anyone have AGXs? are they any better than a stock replacement? would they be worth losing 200 bucks for (if i can't get rid of the GR2s) i have only heard from one other person about the AGXs and he couldn't even tell the difference between the settings
