Are you installing the J30 rotors and calipers?

If not, then just look at the FSM.

Dial guages and brake lathe are both good to have access to.

OEM pads only.

Hmm is there anyway to explain this without sounding like a dumb womanThe book doesnt really explain it in lamest terms. This will be my first time changing brakes. Since I can not afford a mechanic I figured I'd try it myself thinking it wouldnt be to hard. (maybe I was wrong) None the less it has to be done

I googled a lathe That is not something I have laying around also http://www.jcwhitney.com/webap...10101 Is this the dial gauge you were talking about?

To do the overhaul correctly, you need to check runout or have them turned after checking rotor thickness. High temperature lube grease, torque wrench if the rotors come off, and a shim kit on hand in case it is required.

Now, what about the emergency drum brakes?

And the front brakes? Irregularites there can quickly undo all your good work on the rear ones if the defects are not remedied at the same time.
