Obviously if the people at the dealership can, you can. Its not like Nissan techs have special powers and super human strength...

But the Nissan techs have all the good tools. Just try changing the #6 spark plug on of a 2000 Frontier V6 and you'll understand

That said....as long as it doesn't require special tools or a small child with a severely deformed arm to get at it you should be able to change it yourself.

To change the cabin air filter you do not need any tools. 1. Pull out glove box pins.2. Remove the glove box assembly.3. Remove the filter cover.4. Take out the in-cabin microfilter from blower unit.5. Replace with the new one and reinstal on blower unit.6. Reinstal the glove box.

To do this , you will need approx 5-10 minutes.
