Chances of supercharging vs turbo?

With the SERs having the CVT it is obvious that a turbo system would be a bit hard, however a simple supercharger design would make a huge difference without having a pressure problem and it would be much easier on that CVT transmission. I am new to Nissan and was wondering if anything is being done out there to make this happen? or is everything force induction focused on the 350Z?

Turbocharging wouldn't be any more difficult with a CVT than supercharging would, and to that end, neither is problematic due to the CVT. Turbos/superchargers do the same thing in different ways and neither is affected by the trans.

Forced induction has been addressed on current SE-Rs. I think the only kits are still in development, though.

CVT is in the latest generation ("B16," though it's really a Renault C platform), 07+ models.

There are some people that have custom turbo kits on their B16's, I believe stillen was going to make a supercharger kit, but they backed out (dont quote me on this)

Basically not enough people are interested for manufacturers to start producing kits
