People, I have found this reference Spark Plugs numbers from NGK to Champion. Could anyone verify if this is true? This is for G35/350Z engine copper plugs. Some places at $1.98/each!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the bottom of page, right column ‘champion cross reference’ (LFR5A-11) …You won’t find the numbers doing a “page search” cause the number “ 5” is written “intentionally” in a format to avoid this kind of search. (http://www.alwaysachampion.eu/userfiles ... l%20UK.pdf)

Other references for the champion spark plug:NGK LFR5A-11 = Champion PG LFR5A-11 (MARINE PURPOSES)

Champion CP-975 (https://www.hrpworld-dealers.com/result ... g=CHAMPION)

Champion OE 148CHAMPION REC10YC4 (I have found a lot of these on the internet)

The Champion price!!! for the same NGK spark plug.

Unless I'm mistaken, I have found a website where you can buy the champion version at $1.98/each. The NGK counterpart is like $6.00/each.Plus, I’m still looking for the website advertising them at $1.15/each. I just forgot to save the link.

Wow! That IS amazing! That's like $24.12 + applicable tax(es) in savings every 5yrs/60k miles whichever comes first.

I actually appreciate the jester. Someone in need of plugs might be going thru money issues with todays economy, layoffs, hours being cut. I may be one to lose my job next month.... Besides that Richie, If you take care of your pennies, your dollars will take care of themselves. -My Dad

While that is good for some people, I have never much cared for champion spark plugs. Just never liked them myself. Also if anyone ever were curious about it most auto parts stores are able to cross reference parts in their computers.

Seriously, I'd buy stock sparks (NGK), or whatever the book recommends. It's relatively cheap since it lasts for a really long time.

Humm!! For some reason the message was somehow misunderstood. Ok, let me explain! I was following some threads, long time ago, talking about copper spark plugs being more conductive than platinum and others (blah blah blah). So, for the guys experimenting or testing new equipment and fouling spark plugs; or, for those others that DON’T WANT to lose their $100.00 buck OE platinum ones doing some fuel or air flow adjustments/modifications (maybe a sprayed race), I think this is a good choice. These plugs are not intended for day to day operations or to be there for 100,000+miles; this is just a quick reference in the case that, for an unknown reason, you want to buy the copper ones for cheap!! Let’s say for just one ‘nitrous’ quarter mile race and that’s it! Then put back in the Million dollar plugs for Monday work.I also prefer the Platinum or Iridium ones.

if you want copper plugs you just ask for them at the parts store, the cross reference isn't a big secret, when you walk into autozone it'll list every plug that fits, reguardless fo brand or tip material

^+1 They could show you different brands/material/configuration from cheapest to expensive and vice versa.
