I've been looking for a step by step guide on the chain guide replacement. Does anyone have a copy? My Q hasn't had the guides changed yet, so I want to do this asap.I'm sure that Joe has a kit for this - does anyone have a link?Is there anyone in Illinois that might want to help?I've changed all of the spark plugs on this beast and thought it was a tremendous amount of work just to change them. Is the chain guide replacement just as tedious?

Thanks for the quick reply and link.I notice that the timing chains stay intact. Should they be changed also?If so - should the whole setup change over to the double-row system?

I belive you would want to replace the Oil pump chain but leave the others alone.

It's worth the trip and the money to head up to Squee's heated and well-equipped "Infiniti Emporium"! He did mine and did a great job.

You do not want to do this the first time by yourself. It helps out tremendously to have someone who has been through it before turning the wrenches!

Bought the kit from Joe on Wednesday. I will be heading up to Wisconsin in the very near future. Hope the Q holds out during the trip! I'll try to keep it under 100mph!Damn thing did 140 when I first got her!
