Exactly. More and more we hear about these ~20-25% price increases, it's just the big ticket items where it jumps out at you .Q45tech wrote:Nissan had some serious price increases for parts to adjust for inflation in the spring 2006...................things really hadn't increased in the previous 6 years much if at all.
Well, in Japan it was in production in 2001.Q45tech wrote:........for an engine that hasn't been produced in 10-11 years.

Indeed. MB is celebrating their heritage by opening a classic repair and refurbishing center where you can take your old car in for a full rehab. Expensive, yes, but priceless for people who love their cars. Even Cadillac celebrating the past with their new ads, showing Caddys from every decade over the hundred years.qship96 wrote:If INFINITI wants to play with the big dogs, they better keep the pipeline of spare parts flowing,as you can get decades old mercedes parts to keep one on the road for virtually forever.........
Infiniti doesn't. Regime change. G50 designed by the old purely Japanese company that nearly went in to bankruptcy because of overweighting engineering over marketing. New French regime does not honor the past and wants only their design schema to survive, much like the alpha males attitude to previous dominant sired male cubs. Kill them off.qship96 wrote:If INFINITI wants to play with the big dogs, they better keep the pipeline of spare parts flowing,as you can get decades old mercedes parts to keep one on the road for virtually forever.........
