Ok, i'm trying to change stock rim with stock suspension to aftermarket rims which is 19 to 20 inches.

Should I also lower the body in order to make it look better? since chaing rims into bigger size will higher the body eventually?

I don't want my car look lifted too much and it looks like floating on the air. Has anyone have an idea? or solution? to pull out the good look at least expense and least modification?

Cuz, i heard lowering body will damage car systematically, such as transmission, allignment adjusting device(i donno exactly) and little stuff like that which is necessary to maintain cars condition in the best after many years.

Please advise about chaging rims and posting picture will also help me.

Thank you,

keep stock proportion up to 3% with your upsized rims (but lower profile tires) and get a eibach drop it will look really nice. don't worry about the car, it will run fine, only some damper wear but nothing significan

2.5.

When i said suspension, not just spring but also other stuff.

Anti-roll bar, strut, springs or coilovers.

well, i know it will cost more since 2.5 has cheaper suspension and not enought setup to make it better than 3.5. Anyways,

i'm thinking a lot of stuff,

such as,,

Put Body kit instead lowering body so it gives extra look and wouldn't make it look like it is floating,

or, lower it 1~1.5 inches.

either way, i don't wanna abuse my car. I would prefer move better and perform better than appearance only.

plsease advise.

If you put a body kit on to give the appearance of the car being lower, you will end up with the body work being slightly lower but you will still have the huge wheel well gaps that our cars are cursed with stock.

I suggest the Eibach springs, if you dont feel like putting up the cash for coilovers.

I have a similar set-up to what it sounds like you are looking for appearance wise. 19" wheels, bodykit, and lowered. Pic is in my sig.

Also, to answer your question on tire size, I went with 245/40/19 because of the potholes in my area. If that is not a problem for you, 245/35/19 will have less sidewall on the tires.

Hope that helps

That helped, and i have few more question.

How many inches did u lower?I wanna know the ideal inches to lower it down in order to avoid systemic damage.

such as damage to the transmission and other things over time.

How many inches can Eibach spring lower?
