True. Perhaps we can restructure the question and maybe it'll help anyway. Usually CFM (I assume air) is given in standard units--SCFM or standard cubic feet per minute. "Standard" air at 68*F and 1atm weighs .075 lbs/ft^3.
One cubic foot of air = .075 lbsAir flowing at 1 SCFM for 1 hour weighs (60*.075) = 4.5 lbs. 2 SCFM weighs 9 lbs after 1 hour 3 SCFM weighs 13.5 lbs after 1 hour, etc.
