that could be problematic if you don't like the extreme dimensions rear bumper.... don't think the cops would like no rear license plate but honestly i was totally not a fan of the extreme dimensions rear bumper. it looked good on the G35 because the G35 has the license plate in the bumper. but now that they have a trunk with the license plate delete, the extreme dimensions kit would be really nice (except the ugly front bumper)

Word, one of my mods were hoping they come up with a aftermarket trunk to delete teh licence plate. I hate shutting the trunk and have my stupid plate rattle to hell

And it looks cleaner on teh bumper then the trunk + extreme demension rear bumper is sweet and perfect for the plate, but u must delete the original plate holder!

That CF trunk looks sexy as hell and I would have to agree about the annoying plate rattle when you shut the trunk. Wonder if Brandon is going to do the "G35" style brake / running lights for our coupe as well. That would just finish it off!

It looks nice but for reason i keep thinking srt4.(my friend has a cf hood and trunk for his orange srt4) if i got it i think i would paint it, but so you can still see the fibers like in the z1

That is because you are crazy.

On a stock A/C it would look awful. On one with the ED kit it would look like pure sex.

Man this means that the button next to the license plate that opens the trunk would be gone. I love that button...lol

I think it would look pretty decent on a stock altima if it was color matched

I hope you're joking... it's the smart button, sames as the button on the door handle.

Never thought of it too but if that's going to delete the button, then I don't want it. That button is to convenient and I use it constantly

The other thing to consider with a new trunck is the interior finish. Stock is nice and carpeted. Also, and I'm sure not many people have used it, but I have, is the trunk release on the inside. It's pretty handy if you have the battery disconnected and need to open the trunk lid.

and there's another good point!!!

As more and more thought is brought into this, a CF trunk isn't what its all cracked up to be

I'm with ya, that just doesn't work. I can look ok on some vehicles but looks pretty crappy there.

I feel like it runins the lines of the rear. I don't know i'm not a huge fan of Carbon Fiber either. But a hood would be sick.

AHAHAHAHA!!! Totally didn't know about the damn button! I've never used it before (obviously!). I think that since I've gotten by just fine without it this far, I'll do just peachy with a CF trunk...

No idea if anyone caught this but VIS came out with a trunk for our cars now, I'm probably late in the game.
