Hello guys

I've been thinking about getting the Terminator CF hood for my A/C. But I've heard many stories about it flying and cracking the front windshield. Almost all my driving is on highways, so I remember I heard people talking about some sort of clips that would hold the hood in place, can any one show me where I can find them? (the best kind)
and how do I install them on the hood? Any drilling required? :gapteeth:
Thanks!

They're called hood pins! I don't know much about them but that should give you a better start.

Yup, hood pins. Yes, you will need to drill! Not for the faint of heart!

Thanks guys

But I don't think it is a good Idea to Drill through CF.. It will crack right?
How much do the hood pins cost? Do I have to drill through the car's body or just the new hood?

Hood pins are reliable.

Leave drilling CF hoods to shops or to professionals, such as Dangeris. Speaking of him, he can also hook you up with a great set of custom projectors ;)

Yup I'm aware of Dangeris' work! But I live in Dubai, so I have to get everything myself.
I'm actually still thinking if I should get the CF hood or a custom projectors from Dangeris :chuckle:

I saw some clips, they're called "Aero Catch Flushmount Hood Pins". They're being sold for $99.

I don't actually feel like the projectors will be a great addition since I have OEM HIDs, maybe I will just paint them. Or maybe I will order something from Dangeris later :)

Just because you have OEM HIDs doesn't mean its the same performance as having projectors. If that is the case, then no car out there would have projectors. :yesnod Think of it this way, the coupe's original HIDs are good but it will NEVER give the same output and lighting clarity as projectors. to prove it, go find a nice wall and shine your lights to the wall. I'll bet you a set of headlights that it will NEVER look like this:

You can continue to purchase and install visual mods on your car like the CF hood but a good set of headlights is just as good and even more important...especially at night! So don't be a chump..just pull the trigger already and get a set of dangeris headlights already... :rotfl

BTW..if you get the aero catch hood pins, be sure to get the mounting plates from Password JDM. Trust me..it'll make the install ALOT easier :chuckle:

lol, that's funny! I was going to email you today to see if I can have a nice offer!
I'm actually a bit scared that my car will look like a Civic (no offense to the Honda guys, but I don't like all the lights they put).
But then I realized that I can avoid that by not ordering the R8 style LEDs ;)

Dangeris, I'll b sending you an email today so we can hopefully finalize the deal (honestly the CF hood requires too much work & space :squint:)
