Does anyone have any experience with Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Plumbing? I was debating going this route as I've heard it can handle the heat. I saw where it was used on roadsters and figured it may be a cheaper way to go.

I've also heard some people don't like it because it doesn't conduct heat that well. That didn't make much sense to me though... don't you want the air to resist engine temps?

carbon fiber cheaper? i dont think so BlackHat. intake is an intake. just stick a k&n cone on the end of you stock intake piping. or move the battery to the trunk and route the intake where the battery was in the engine bay.

That was the plan Just with CF.

If I do get around to doing it I'll try to make two (Assuming CF doesn't get too crazy with pricing... Gov't is buying it up like mad). This will be for my SOHC KA too.
