I have a 2010 Murano SL and have been trying to figure out how to get the CF card to work. I bought an 8GB card and loaded an audio book which is in three folders. I have been able to get the folders to show up on the display, but can't get them to play. After reading earlier forums looking for a solution, I have seen that a lot of Murano and Infiniti owners have gone through this. Some say it's the size of the card and some say it's the ending of the files. Anyone have any suggestions? - Thanks

Welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you here in the Murano Forum. The best thing to do is to use a 2GB CFC. You will not have any issues after that, sorry for the not so good news.

Thanks for your response and advice Timmbo. I'll report back as soon as I get a 2GB card and give it a try. Too bad - the 8GB card is now useless to me.

Yeah, I hear ya man. I have a 2GB and it works perfect, you will not have any issues, it will be nice when all Nissan and Infiniti vehicles and use a USB port instead of the CFC slot.....don't get me wrong, I love the CFC, but the USB takes things a step further, especially with iPod integration. I have the USB set-up on our G37xS and it works perfectly.

The 2GB limit is a limit of the operating system that Nissan uses on many of their cars. An operating system called QNX. Type of flash card doesn't matter, but I am glad that Nissan has started to use the more ubiquitous USB connection.

Well, it took a while, but I finally received the 2G card, loaded the audio book folders, and changed the endings to .mp3. Unfortunately, the car still won't play them. The folders show up on the screen and I can scroll from one folder to the next, but they won't play. I hope the photo of the dashboard loaded properly to this. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

I am not sure exactly what you are doing in terms of how you are loading the music. I simply drag and drop the MP3's right onto the CFC and it works perfectly. I guess I have never done it any other way.

Your photo is not loaded properly, let me know if I can help!
