CF Card Compatibility?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does anyone know the specifications (e.g. any limitations on the capacity, speed, etc) for CF cards compatible with the EX35 slot?

I tried to look for it in the manual but couldn't find anything.

TIA!David

Infiniti Owners Manual

Section 4, Page 57

The Music Box Hard-Drive audio system can store songs from CD's being played. The system has a 9.3 gigabyte (GB) storage capacity and can record up to 200 Hours (approximately 2,900 songs).

Hope this helps...

Hey Dean,

That's referring to the hard drive, not the CF (Compact Flash) card. You can get CF cards all the way to 16 GB and beyond, but I didn't want to buy the wrong one.

I found some specs for file compatibility on p. 4-48 of the manual, all good to know, but nothing about speed/capacity for compatible CF cards (just that all 3 types of FAT format are supported).

Cheers,David

I purchased a 2 gb flash drive - storing a little over 500 songs. It works great.
