Can the same or similar ceramic coating for exhaust manifolds be applied to aftermarket (i.e. Brembo) or stock brake rotors to increase brake performance?

It's mainly to protect the rest of the rotors from rusting.

the coating on some rotors isn't ceramic, it's a zinc wash or something. ceramic would be a bad idea because it would hold heat in, you want to transfer heat out as fast as possible.

as for where, you can buy new ones already coated from a lot of places. getting used ones dipped might be difficult. the rust already on there might interfere with the coating, check the phone book for a local shop that does coatings. they would know about the rust.
