Centre dash speaker...big job?

New to the forum...picked up my new G37...centre dash speaker grill dented...is it a big job to remove/replace?...seems to have tabs on it...will the entire dash have to come out...unusual and dissappointing...

Not sure why nobody responded yet but isn't that a warranty item?

I don't think anyone has had to remove the speaker since they did a good job with the system!

Yes it is a warranty item. I was concerned that the entire dash would have had to come out. I can't imagine someone not being pleased with the stock stereo as IMO it sounds great.

Well it probably doesn't have the ability of separation of welds in the trunk so many would be dissatisfied with it. To me it sounds natural with the exception of a couple of door buzzes, etc. that should be easy to take care of with some insulation.

I hate stock stereos. They suck.

That being said, I believe the stock speakers have a grill cover on them. For my 2003 the rear BOSE sub had a grill covering that had plastic clips. Be gentle when pulling it up if you do.
