We installed a set of these in a customers Z the other day and I have to say, it is the best bang for the buck mod I have seen.

The car pulls so much harder, 3rd and 4th gears are unreal.

I have heard people say that these gears are like adding 75hp to the car...having installed a few 75 shots of N20, I think these are a better mod.

For $489, this is a tough mod to beat.

If anyone has any questions about this, I would be happy to help.

Short answer, stock is 3.5. These gears will shorten up each gear by 10%. You will get to the sweet spot of the rpm range alot faster and it will be a noticeable difference.

Kinda like the old school muscle cars...they all went to 4.11 gears for harder acceleration.

You lose around 6mph off the top end. No real noticable gas mileage diff.

Hope that helps.

ToyBoxAuto.com

$489 I think...

We charged $240 for the install. It is pretty easy if you have diff. experience.
